SAN MICHELE SALES FORCE TEAMS UP FOR CANCER BENEFIT
PALM BEACH GARDENS – The sales
team at San Michele was in full force at the recent Jupiter/Tequesta
Unit of the American Cancer Society’s “Relay
for Life” event, which benefitted local programs
for cancer victims and their families.
All four members of the San Michele sales team participated
in the signature event, which is held nationwide. An 18-
to 24-hour slumber party of sorts for people of all ages
honoring the memory of those who lost their lives to cancer
as well as those who have conquered their battles with
cancer, the Jupiter/Tequesta Relay For Life raised over
$140,000 to fund research and community awareness. Over
75 teams participated in the April event, held at the
Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter.
Representing The San Michele team were Sandy Rigabar,
a 10-year member of the local chapter’s board of
directors and chairman of the R.O.C.K. (Reaching Out To
Cancer Kids) Camp fundraising; Bill Dougherty, Susan Cirasuolo
and Joyce Bartlett.
“We were very proud that the San Michele sales
team took such an active role in this event,” noted
Paul Asfahl, president of Sterling Communities. “It’s
unusual to have unanimous support and participation by
all members of a sales team. We applaud their service
to our community.”
Earlier this season, Asfahl and Rob Gordon, chief operating
officer at Gordon Homes, who represent the two builders
at San Michele, presented a donation for “Relay
for Life” to the San Michele sales team in honor
of their volunteer efforts.
Inspired by the romantic villages of Italy, San Michele
is a guard-gated neighborhood of 90 exclusive, luxury
estate residences featuring four-, five- and six-bedroom
floorplans. Homes at the community are priced from the
$600,000s to over $2 million.
In addition to six professionally designed model homes,
the community features the recently completed Venetian
Club, a fitness center with state-of-the-art cardiovascular
and strength training equipment, a social room and tropically
landscaped swimming pool, as well as two lighted Har-Tru
tennis courts.
The community’s entry is manned 24-hours a day,
and is adjacent to the new campus of The Benjamin School.
Within minutes of San Michele are private and public schools,
The Gardens Mall, restaurants and beaches.
